Not smart to fade the yanks when to start to roll like this. Seems like they do this once or twice a year when they win like 18 of 20 games to get themselves back into playoff contention.

It wasn't as risky to take the A's today. The Rays are in the decline and Sonnanstine is the weakest out of the Ray's starting pitchers. Swallow ur pride and stay away from twins unless you want to give up your gains.Comment -

I've been looking at this closely. I liked the idea of the twins being able to put up a lineup of 7 lefties/switchies vs the righty mussina...
but then I found that opposing lefthanders are hitting .223 with a putrid ops of .544 against moose this year.
that's compared to righties' more than healthy .332 ba and all-star like ops of .896 in almost equal number of at bats.
I think initially I was thinking that the yanks were "due" a loss and the twins "due" a win.. but on second thought, Pat has a good point about the Yanks when they start clicking on all cylinders.Comment -

well I've seen many good reasons to go with the Yanks tomorrow. What good reasons/trends are there to expect the twins to win, Arena? Hey "gut feelings" can give you a run now and then...but for the long hall you gotta put yourself in the best position to win percentages wise. In other words if your life depended on it and tomorrow's game was gonna be played 1000 times in parallel universes...who would you expect to win 501 times? or well 600+ times considering the odds.Comment
