For those who may not have looked this game is at 11:00am est. Wells is out for Boston, Seattle's at +136

The Boston Red Sox placed left-hander David Wells on the 15-day disabled list Saturday with a right knee injury and called up right-hander Jermaine Van Buren from Triple-A Pawtucket. According to the Boston Herald, Lenny DiNardo will likely get his Patriots Day game start. There has been no official announcement.

i know they have been on that east coast road trip for a while, but i still have to factor that into my capping.

I think you really have to pick your spots when betting against the Redsox. I have gotten away with it twice and cashed a couple of nice tickets. I don't like playing on or against guys just getting called up. Most of the time they are going to pitch their asses off. I'm gonna pass on this one myself.

He barely and I stress barely beat the play out. That play would have ended the game.

I believe that is Boston's 3rd-straight Patriot's Day win, and fifth in the last seven go's on the holiday.

4 out of the last 5 the red sox have won on this day. the one they lost was to toronto.

I sincerely apologise for my premature congratulations on the Mariners "win". I had to run out the door and at that moment in time there were two out and nobody on and I swear Yahoo game day put the game up as a final and I must have fooled myself into thinking my side had won that sucker!
