I'm wondering if this is more about St. Louis' future failure at Houston vs. the Braves winning in Philly. Westbrook is pitching for the Cards tonight -- not exactly a slam dunk.

Remember, it's a 1 game lead with 2 to go. I'd say that price is accurate.

dont worry about the price all it tells you is that atl is winning the wild card.

let the public drive up the cards today and then hammer houston late.

Again, though, with a 1 game lead and just 2 to go, what do you expect the line to be?

I'm not saying HOU is a bad play tonight, but I wouldn't back Lowe with stolen money.

With Philly playing atl and houston playing the cards the line should have been -175 at the most.

I'm not playing the game because Oswalt's one of the most overrated pitchers in baseball and Philly doesn't have anything to play for. I'm just saying backing Lowe is a scary proposition. Good luck LB.

I guess that doesn't seem far fetched to me, given the fact that the Cards would have to win their last two and Atlanta would have to drop its last two for St. Louis to win it outright. All the Braves have to do is win once against a team with no motivation to win and they're in a wild-card playoff worst case scenario.

the phils have no motivation but still won last night down 2-0. they could have packed it in.

Don't forget that Hudson's throwing for ATL tomorrow against Blanton.
