When Doc lost yesterday, I knew Phils were done until playoffs. There was no way Doc should've lost.
Before yesterday's game: Doc was 1.29 ERA v Cards, 9 SO, 1 ER
Card was missing , Holliday, Schumaker and Patterson. Only one in Card's lineup who could hit Doc was Berkman.
Phils playing at home.
Doc's last game v Astros (easy peasy but high pitch count), his next game v. Mets (easy peasy).
Opposite mound was Lohse... yeah, that Lohse.
Yesterday, the Card's got 6 hits off him, 4 ERs and 3 of those hits were from Furcal (who?).
