I really want to ride Kershaw here lunch. Giants are in win at all costs mode, but he'd love nothing more than to virtually drive a nail into their coffin.

Lincecum's has given up 1 run or LESS in 12 out of his last 16 starts. Kershaw could give up 1 run here and easily lose this game

Both teams bats have been too hot or probably would have gone with under.

there's a world of difference between facing esmil rogers at coors field and facing kershaw at dodger stadium

Lincecumstain is + money AND the Giants are playing well and need the win. Rarely do you find this combination. Usually you are laying unwarranted massive juice with likes of Weiland and Lackey.

The Giants' current form is what worries me here.

Like I said, I want to ride the Kershaw money train one more time. Just get the feeling it might derail.

because they're facing a guy who nearly never gets scored on in his homestadium

                                it's pretty obvious brah

                                  Dodgers rL -1.
Giants bats are hot, but the Rockies are on a slump and the Dodgers have home field advantage and Kershaw owns the Giants.

Careful with that under boys... I am well aware of the 2 starters era but you may have noticed both teams have been putting up more runs than usual as of late.... it wont take much to break up that 5.5 under bid... maybe just a less than perfect outing from timmy?... just sayin.

This, every game between these two goes under 5.5
Why should this one be any different?

I don't feel comfortable enough to lay money on either side, though I'd lean towards the Dodgers. All of the pressure is on Lincecum and Giants, whereas the Kershaw and the Dodgers should be fairly loose. When looking at both of these lineups, there's very few bright spots in terms of on-base percentage and slugging percentage. I'd bet Dodgers in this situation, but the Giants have rekindled what it's like to hit and score runs and may have a more positive mental outlook in the batter's box. I think if you had to bet in this game, there's value on the OVER.

In other news, I really like Seattle at Minnesota and the Braves at Florida. I cashed the Marlins yesterday (got a horrible overnight line, but stuck with it) and I see things turning around today. Wind is favoring Atlanta style baseball...we'll see how these picks play out.

Honestly I think the over/under is a coin toss since they're both hitting the ball very well. As far as sides go I'd give the edge to Kershaw purely because of home field advantage.

They allowed you to parlay a ML and a side from the same game, in the same parlay? Which book is this?

If good pitching beats good hitting then the NL CY Young dominates sub par hitting. Kershaw has been the most dominant pitcher in the last two months, why would it stop today? The kid is in the zone and wants to crap on the giants hopes. I am guessing 8 or 9 innings with 0 or 1 runs and about 9 k's. #20 comes tonight. In his last 20 innings he has 2 earned runs and a .65 whip. go ahead bet against that.
