I know his career track record on the road and I know what Houston's overall record looks like, but the Cubs are coming back from a 7-game road trip with no rest, they've dropped three straight, and the Stros are 8-8 in their last 16 and 7-5 vs. the Cubs this year.

At this price, isn't it worth a roll of the dice?

IMO, Garza pitches lights out tomorrow. As a Cubs fan, I know just how bad we are (absolutely terrible), and I dread betting on our team... but I am on the ML tomorrow... GL with your wagers.

Yea I think the line is a little steep at -160 so there is some value in having the Astros at +150 if you see them winning. I just don't see Houston winning so to me there is no value.

Curious as to where this total is going to be..I know betting Wrigley day games UNDER is probably not +ev but this might be a decent spot no ? Cubs offense should be sluggish coming off this long trip and deflating loss.. Plus they are the cubs..Wandy and the Garza strip should keep things in check..what do you guys think ? the +149 did catch my eye but i'm not quite sold.. Wish it was another Cubs starter

Hey noCoin. I saw this line last night and I said the same thing to myself; +150ish for Wandy is great value. However, after further research, I think the line has more to do with Garza pitching at home. He has the lowest home ERA in the NL this season and can pitch lights out. The one thing about him is that he doesn't pitch deep into games and has had his leads blown in the late innings. I think this could be a close game where the stros could pull it out. I personally really like the Astros ML and worse case, I would think the Stros +1.5 should hit. Garza is great at home, but doesn't get the run support.
