        He is not a free agent next year.

        The reason he's only making 500K is because of MLB's team control rules. He becomes arbitration-eligible this offseason, though. Big raise coming.

        This is his 4th season. I assume the OP doesn't follow baseball.

          Kershaw will name the price. Besides, why would anyone want to leave Los Angeles?

          Dodgers brass would leverage the whole team in order to secure a loan for Kershaws new deal B4 ever letting him go. Besides he is under team control for awhile as stated above.

                      I was hoping he be a FA, than MAYBE my jays can sign him. But i really hope he gets paid, because currently he is the most under paid athlete in the world.
