Your damn right they do. Maybe it would spark them to play better, or just give others the chance to play. That team is terrible.

Is that why they walked him in his first at bat? He had a .500 average coming into this game.

Smart man. You bean Wright, Beltran and Delgado if you want to get back at Pedro for beaning three of yours. And you also have one of your batters 'lose his grip' on a missed swing early on and send the bat whirybirding out towards Pedro on the mound.

No doubt, they should have nailed his ass.

There were pre-game warnings to both teams from the umps.

But the thing about baseball is the long memories. Maybe they'll meet again in August and the game won't be so close and that's when Pedro will see a few heaters heading in his direction.

They should of bean him. They were in the game, but with the way the Nationals are hitting. Was there really any chance for them?

I think you have to give him a neighbourly "Howdy!" (by which I mean, throw it at his ribs as hard as you can.)

Absolutely bean him. He should have thought of that before bringing his schtick to the NL.

    started a topic Bean Pedro?

    Bean Pedro?

The moment is drawing near. Pedro Martinez beaned three Washington Nationals in his last start and the rematch is an hour away. Pedro has to step into the batter's box.

To bean or not to bean?

I have to think the answer is:

    Bean.
