But I do believe you. There are some intangibles that go along with them losing. One factor is that there is a letdown after playing hard for a Verlander start. They feel as though they can not lose when Verlander plays, and play all out. The next day I do not feel they would give the same effort.Comment -

Penny is always susceptible to giving up a bucketload of runs quickly. Also, Tiger bats have been running hot recently, especially against the White Sox. Can't see them slowing down too much against a pitcher making his first big league start, no matter how impressive his minor league numbers are.Comment -
