Pros: Lincecum is 7-1 with a 2.23 ERA in 10 starts and one relief appearance away from home. While Dempster is undefeated at home, he is 0-6 with a 5.09 lifetime ERA as a starter against the Giants. He allowed two runs in five innings at San Francisco on July 2. I think the Giants are due for a win and today is their day.
Cons: Giants offense is lacking at times, crap bullpen.
Rangers +100
Pros: Matt Harrison was impressive in his first start against the Angels. The White Sox are awful on the road. Their offense also has trouble against lefties. Contreras is 0-2 with a 8.59 ERA in four starts away from home since beating the Los Angeles Angels on May 14. Contreras is 1-1 with a 6.89 ERA in three career starts against the Rangers -- all at Texas -- but hasn't faced them since June 12, 2006. Take the better offense here.
