    I like Tim Lincecum... but he's about the only advatage you'd give the Giants.
    And in his last five outings:
    W-L ERA WHIP
    2-1 4.65 1.42

    isn't a whole lot different from Dempster's:
    W-L ERA WHIP
    2-1 4.13 1.49

    who is clearly playing with better supporting cast.

    There may be "value" in the Giants at this price, but I think it's very small...

      As I posted in another thread, I am very surprised that a team going nowhere like the Giants would start Lincecum today and not allow him to get some glory by starting the All-Star Game.

          You're probably right. I actually think the NL could win this year. They have much better pitching - unless Halladay and Duchscherer pitch the entire game.

            The AL will win. They are much better hitters and are used to playing in Yankee stadium. The pitching is about even.

              I like the AL to win, Rivera to close it out, Yankee fans to go home happy. Storybook ending just as Selig would want it
