I realy think so, but it might be a "trap"....
Some trends:
* Twins are 26-16 against division opponents
* Twins are 40-27 against right-handed starters
* Tigers are 13-23 against division opponents
* Tigers are 2-9 in Verlanders last 11 starts vs. American League Central
* Tigers are 1-5 in Verlanders last 6 starts vs. a team with a winning record
* Twins are 4-1 in Blackburns last 5 starts following a Quality Start in his last appearance
* Twins are 7-0 in their last 7 vs. American League Central
* Twins are 4-1 in Blackburns last 5 starts
* Twins are 4-0 in the last 4 meetings
* Tigers are 0-4 in Verlanders last 4 starts vs. Twins
Also Blackburn got a 3-0 record with a 1.74 ERA and a 1.26 WHIP, giving up only 2 HR's in 31 innings...
Both pitchers is great vs opponent... Blackburn is 1-0 when starting against the Tigers with an ERA of 2.84 and a WHIP of 0.947, shutout in 7 innings in his last outing against them.
Verlander is 3-4 when starting against the Twins with an ERA of 3.78 and a WHIP of 1.400, gave up only 1 ER in 7 innings in his last outing against them.
The Twins are out-hitting the Tigers with a .328 batting avg with 6.60 R/9 against Tigers .260 batting avg with 4.16 R/9 in their L10 vs righties...
