Angels Will Win Today And Here's Why.
Ervin Santana is 8-1 with a 1.48 ERA against Oakland and 3-0 with a 1.80 ERA in McAfee Coliseum.Dana Eveland has surrended 11 hits and nine runs in 11 innings during two starts this season versus the Halos. If there was ever a game to hammer it's this one.The Angels are coming off a loss as well which is the icing on the cake. You have to love the Angels here.Let's cash in this easy one.

Oakland lineup certainly doesn't scare anyone, but I think they might be ready to go on one of their typical 20 win months that they seem to pull out their ass almost every year in June or July.

In the last 10 games, Halos are outscoring A's 6.0 to 4.0 runs per game. But Santana's ERA in his last three games is 5.40.

A's have a shot at the playoffs and are playing the only team that will keep them from getting there.....on a weekend.....in font of the home crowd....with a pitcher (Eveland) who is 5-2 with a 3.03 ERA at home.

Why bother with this game? It could go either way.

3 ER or less in 16 of his 18 starts, definitely doesn't give you a chance to win.
