He gave up 2 walks and 2 hits in two innings. This isn't the minors, and he has shown some location problems when he is off in the minors.
Stults gives up a lot of gopher balls, and against a good hitting team like the Marlins......

I'm going to respectfully say that anyone who thinks Volstad sucks just doesn't know enough about him.
He's clearly the Marlins top pitching prospect and the Marlins are known for grooming some serious studs in their farm system.
Someone please show me concrete evidence that Volstad sucks.

By no means does Volstad suck. In fact, I believe he will very good. But I don't think he is ready to show his best stuff yet. His best pitch is his 12 to 6 curve ball. He just occasionally has trouble locating his fastball, which equals walks.Comment -

I figured there to be no way in hell, that after 3 runs in first 3 batters, that this first five would come through, but Stults settled down, and Volstad was an absolute stud. 3-0 after 5
