Yup what LT is referring to is arbitrage, that is take both sides and collect the middle percentage. It is guaranteed money, no matter what the outcome you win.

And even if you don't scalp and like the Cubs -146 FF, you could cut the vig. Instead of betting 500 on Cubs -146, i.e., you could bet 500 on Giants +160 and 1000 on Cubs -146.

typically i'd agree. though there are scalpable mlb lines between SIA and pinnacle/matchbook everyday.
