This is an interesting line here. I've read some saying that the Texas line is a trap, which it most definitely could be (one that I've fallen into). The way I see this game is as follows:
1) David Price has been very good in his last two starts striking out 25 batters (ridiculous). Most would see this as David Price has been awesome and no way he can lose in this spot (puts line at -150ish)
2) Derek Holland has a very high ERA...misleading if you ask me. Holland has pitched more effectively of late. With Holland, you're going to get a great pitcher or a guy who couldn't last 3 innings. Holland has four CGs with all 4 being shutouts and he is 3-1 lifetime against the Rays(though a 7+ ERA). He gets the highest run support of any pitcher (7+ per 9innings). However, I'd say majority of public would see Holland as a weak link. (puts the line in at -150ish)
3) Rangers hit Price well; took him out in last years postseason in a day game. Price doesn't have a great home record this year as he doesn't get much support run-wise at the Trop. (Line at -125ish)
All in all, the line was rather right on to me and has come down a bunch. Like I started, I could be completely wrong on my point and the line could easily be a trap that I myself have fallen into.
But, it is what it is and I'll gladly have my money on Holland and the Rangers at +money. Go Rangers.

The Rangers have hit the ball hard, but right at people. Plus two balls they that should be doubles and they get singles. We need Holland to settle in and keep it at 3 - 1. Rangers bats seem like they can come alive today. Its a 9 inning game folks, lets hang in there.Comment -

Hang in there Rangers bettors. I don't see the Rangers ending this game with 2 runs. They are taking great cuts and we'll see Kinsler and the rest of the lineup at least twice before this game is finished. Rangers are swinging too well in this game to end it at 2 runs.
