The futile Vance Worley Fade lives on.

vance is good, people think he's just lucky, but great hitters like votto cannot recognize his curve that goes out and back in for a strike and they strike out looking. it's not just a fluke in my opinion. he has a very strange and hard to recognize pitch that's very effective on lefties.

Let's see, this is like octuple or nothing....

Sure, why not. I've picked plenty of losers lately -- why not one more?

He's a .500 pitcher in the minors and he's given up 17 ER in his last 33 IP (ERA right around 5). Doesn't hurt that Philly has scored 66 runs in his last nine starts.

Yet somehow, he has some ungodly streak of most consecutive team wins per start (spanning like 100 years).

If he is going to lose it will be tomorrow IMO.

The Phillies just bail him out time and time again scoring bunches of runs.

I will never forgive the Dodgers for the debacle in LA.

                Ever.

10U play, leads of 5-0 and 7-2. Lost 9-8 thanks to fatass Billingsley.

I remember that game, Billingsley had nearly 70 pitches after 3 Innings with a huge lead. He just wouldn't throw good strikes.

I also bet the Public Philly players had a near orgasm that day.

Books have been telling me a lot lately, and then the bet loses anyway.

I am sure that you guys are aware, but, just in case. Worley, over his last 4 home starts has pitched 25 innings with 23 strikeouts, a WHIP of .720 and an ERA of 2.52. Overall, at home, he is 5-0 with a 1.96 era, a whip of .91, a batting average against of .236. Overall, pitching at night he is 8-0 with a whip of .97 and a baa of .248. Essentially the guy is a half ass pitcher on the road and during the day but at home and at night he has been pitching lights out
