    Thursday Value Plays
I went 2-1 +0.85 units yesterday. I have some nice dogs on my card today.

    Mariners +164
Pros: Anytime the Mariners send a decent pitcher to the mound when they are opposing a southpaw, it is worth taking. The Mariners hit lefties extremely well, batting .285 as a team against them. They send R.A. Dickey to the mound. Dickey gave up two runs -- both on solo homers -- four hits and issued a season-high five walks in six innings of a 3-2 win over Detroit on Saturday, but was not a factor in the decision. Despite the home runs, the right-hander, who began the season in the bullpen, has been pitching much better lately. He is 1-1 with a 1.86 ERA over his last three outings after posting a 20.25 ERA in losing his previous two starts. The Tigers have a much better offense than the A's. Greg Smith has been pitching much worse of late and he is a lefty.

    Cons: A's bullpen is good.

    Texas +126
Pros:Scott Feldman has been very good at home this year, posting a 3.20 ERA. He has a 2.89 ERA in 9.1 Innings pitched against the Angels. The Angels are sending the dominant John Lackey. While Lackey has been Cy Young worthy this year, he has a 5.28 ERA in 73.1 innings versus the Rangers. Take the Rangers offense and hope the bullpen doesn't mess up.

    Cons: Lackey is really good.

I'm considering a few others, I may add on to my card later.

I'm gonna add on White Sox +102
Pros: Buehrle has excellent numbers versus the Royals in his career. Greinke has not faired as well against the Sox. Greinke has also been in decline. Take the better overall team here.
