Larussa threw Mulder out there because he really did not have anyone else available. Mulder was not ready for this game. Really messed up the over on this game. This was a trap from hell. I hope Mulder never pitches again. He looked like garbage out there. The phillies never got a chance to score a bunch of runs after Ryan Howard hit into a double play. I learned never to take overs on 10 runs plus and especially in night games. I thought the over looked really good and I was dead wrong.

I'm sure if Mulder would have stayed in the Phillies would have scored 3 or more extra runs. I was getting worried toward the end, was big on philly today but pulled it out in the end.Comment -
If you bet STL and saw the way MM pitched in the 1st inning you should be thanking LaRusa for getting him out in a hurry and giving his team a legit chance. If MM stayed in any longer...he would have allowed maybe 6+ runs in the 1st inning. He was nowhere near the strike zone tonight. In fact, if you had STL +150, that was a steal once Mulder left.Comment
