There's nothing wrong with that so long as you're maintaining a positive balance. But I fear the Orioles might surprise the Jays tonight.

I like to do 2 team parlays myself once and a while for entertainment. I think you'll find you'll have more success if you just play your sides and totals straight up. Good luck though man, keep posting.....

I think that while you may be up overall, this strategy will ultimately catch up with your bankroll in the long run. The reason for this is that underdogs are starting to win more now. The fluke players/teams are starting to be exposed while the innately good are playing to their abilities. An example of this si the Tampa Bay Rays. They are at their zenith right now. It will not be worth laying considerable chalk on them after the all star break.

You are laying -190 on a Carlos Zambrano who has struggled lately. While you do get the Cubs offense at home on your side, you are taking them against a recently successful Johnny Cueto. Burnett is so inconsistent that it makes me wonder how he could draw so much chalk at home. Lefties like Garrett Olson usually have success against the already stagnant Blue Jay offense.

I'm not trying to knock you. In fact, I wish you the best of luck. I am telling you from past experiences that the phrase "dog days of summer" is beginning to hold true. Heavy favorites aren't worth it since your payout is significantly lower than your input and the probability of hitting is lower as the season goes on.

                  I hear ya.

I had a buddy way back a while ago try to claim that taking all mlb dogs over the course of a season up to +165 I think it was would be profitable year after year.

Unfortunately I can't confirm or deny the validity of it.

I don't think I understand the question. If it is with respect to 2-game parlays, the answer is no, it is not crazy to bet 2-game parlays, per se.

If the question is about laying so much, then I think it probably wouldn't be a successful strategy going forward, but if you are able to find an edge in them, there is nothing wrong with that either.
