why not, there is always the middle relievers and bullpen once hughes gives up a few and gets yanked in the 5th. beckett is not unbeatable or anything.

Guy is lights out at home. Value in Hughes throwin bp to sox at home who just dropped that last game the night b4? Hughes only good outting, at yankee stadium was to the rays who hadnt scored more than 3 in a week at the time just got light by oak for 7 (who were hot ill give you that) Middle relief for the yanks? Ehh if u dont get into the 7th its not pretty in the middle. And had CC last night, these end of the year series often go back n forth between bos/nyy . PLUS im traveling to bostgoing to the game (first time to FENWAY!!) sooooo i gotta go HOMERHOMER here my thoughts are biased for sure.

Yeah he got beat up a little against a hot Oakland offense last game......However,his 4 starts before that he pitched to an ERA of 1.75 with a WHIP of 0.97

Not saying he's great or anything, but if Hughes can pitch alright tonight, Yankees are a good shot at +160 or even higher.
