IMO, yes. Makes for a good story, and great setting @home.

Who he is playing, and the opposing pitching is null and void. I think this Boston team is motivated to get one of their clubhouse/fan favs his milestone.

I would say it's about time he get it done. After today the A's pen has to be fried so it's up to Gonzo to go 7+ and I just don't see that happening without him giving up some runs.

I'd say tomorrow's game is really tough to cap, though I could see an argument for Oak, especially with the price. Boston coming off a victorious and hyped series win in Arlington and is returning home to face the A's, who have been playing big against big ball clubs. Sure, they lost tonight, but it was not your typical loss.

The Red Sox hit lefties very well and Wakefield should be able to go 5-6 tough albiet shaky innings tonight. Sox win a high scoring one (something like 8-5) to get Wakefield no. 200 IMO.

It's a good play anyway. Oakland off a thrashing, Gonzalez struggling and has a pretty bad record on the road. He's about 0-6 on the road with a 5.09 ERA in his last 8.

The Sox bats have been hot and ripped the last 3 Rangers starters / bullpen asses. Oakland has been scoring in bunches as well. Like the over better.
