DET -103. Dropped 10 cents already. Public likes Wade Davis and the Rays. No one should ever like Wade Davis -- especially at this price against a red-hot Tiger team.
CHC +122. Opened at +132. Lopsided bets in favor of the Braves (of course) and Lowe, who is definitely hittable. Question is, can Randy Wells get the Cubs a quality start? Like Detroit, Atlanta is red-hot. But someone doesn't like the Braves here; a lot of early RLM.
WAS +112. Opened at +122, but like the Cubs, got hammered down. Like Atlanta, the D'Backs are a popular public pick. Yet big RLM in action early on.
I'm not necessarily advocating any of these plays -- just making some observations as I glance at the card. Some RLM on the Tribe as well vs. Felix -- Cleveland has gone from +106 to -102, and I'm sure the public will back the bigger "name" pitcher. We'll see.
