I am coming off a 1-5 day on baseball losing 6 units. The Cardinals are painful to wager on right now.

I wanted to get these in early. The Indians were just crushed during their series with the Tigers getting swept and being outscored 22-9 in the series. This is it for the Indians, either win the division or be at home during the playoffs because they are not winning the wild card.

John Lackey has to be the worst 11-9 pitcher in baseball, he hasnt given up less than 3 earned runs in his last 5 outings and opposing teams are averaging a hit an inning in his last 5, not to mention he hasnt made it out of the sixth inning but he is still 3-2 in his last 5 games. This shows you how good Boston hitting is that a guy putting up these kind of numbers can still win games.

He is also is going up the high octane offense of the Rangers and guys like against Hamilton, Kinsler and Michael Young who are hitting .478, .480 and .360 against him lifetime. Boston is always dangerous even when they are not at full strength but Texas is in a tight race with the Angels and they should win this one.

Milwaukee has been a money making machine for me this year and I am not about to fade them now, they may have an enormous lead over the fading Cardinals but I am still going to play them in spots like these. This Estrada kid has already faced Pitt. back on Aug. 13 at Miller Park. He looked sharp limiting the Pirates to one single over five innings and grabbing the win in a 1-0 victory and Estrada looked sharp just recently against Los Angeles, allowing one home run and two other hits in five innings.

Brewers -134 risk 1.34

I was real worried about Cleveland today but they should be soaring after Choos walk off home run today and while this pitching matchup really doesnt favor anyone, Cleveland has to win games like this and the Tigers may go down tonight so the Indians should have a great chance to make up some serious ground today on Detroit.

Coleman is 0-2, 11.33 in his last three starts and Minor has looked good going 3-0 in his last four starts.

Braves -142 risk 1.42

Rollins may be out and but tonights matchup really favors the Phils, the Mets are a mess and Niese is 2-3, 5.91 in his last six starts. Philadelphias pitching rotation is one for the ages, this kid Worley is just amazing and the Phillies have won Worleys last 11 starts. I dont think that winning streak ends tonight facing the woeful Mets. The Mets have lost 10 of their last 12 and I doubt they find any luck tonight facing Worley and the Phillies.
