Could be a 10-unit play for me. All stars are aligned. Already missed a better number.

At first glance, I love the Rays in this spot.

Niemann has been outstanding recently, with seven quality starts in his last eight games. He's beaten Boston and the Yankees during that stretch, and the Rays are 8-2 in his last 10 appearances.

Tigers are coming off an emotional sweep of Cleveland, including a draining game today where they used their entire bullpen. Granted Verlander is used to going deep into games, but it may spell trouble if he gets hit the way he did when he faced Tampa back in May.

Tampa is playing very well right now, winning 9 of 11 and six straight at home. I think they get the job done here in a low-scoring battle.

No guarantees obviously, but this is my kind of play.

I'm doing some more research, and will make the play official hopefully in the morning.

i thought i got a good price on tigers early. i don't think bullpen is a factor with verlander going 7 or 8. rays also had long struggling game. under looks good to me. i don't know why but i love betting on verlander, he is my kind of pitcher.

Under for me. Rays +1.5 is good also. If your ticket does not say Rays or under on it, do not plan on cashing.

Rays +1.5 looks great, might parlay it with brewers and Z. Greinke

Any advice to who's been out of the game for 3 months?

Niemann had beaten Boston and the Yankees; but these two poor pitchers
Verlander had out duel LAA's weaver on the road, in a game when very few didn't think he can pull it off.
                                    good luck either way

Down to +119 now. Hoping it will bounce back up before first pitch.

                                        What's up Paul.
