GGRRRRR. I am so mad. Twice I have bet the UNDER (say 9.5) and the teems tie well under the under... and i still have a 2.5 run buffer and then in the eleventh the away teams scores... which as all good and long as the home team doesnt follow that with a 2 run inning... and of course after a few errors, walks, hit by pitches... i lose. :-(

Mine was a couple of nights ago in the TB-Boston game. I have a 1.5 run buffer going into the bottom of the 9th, with me having the under. One out with a runner on 2nd, a routine flyball to right field for what would have been the second out..... instead it hits the stupid catwalk overhead, and drops in between first base and right field. One batter later, a base hit scoring two and I lose.

They should put a damn windmill in left field, and give you a free triple if you hit it through a clowns mouth behind second base since this is such minature golf-like garbage.

Any bad beat is the worse way to lose and I have experienced almost all of them, the Angels not giving up a hit and losing would be a tough pill to swallow.

top 5 bad beats for me this yr:

                    memphis losing to kansas
darren collison hitting a layup with ucla up 8 with 1 second left vs stabndofr+9.5
milwaukee blowing a 5 run lead in the 9th
giants up 10-3 2 weeks ago with lincecum pitching, lost 11-10
mets up 4-0 with johan throwing a gem 3 weeks back and wagner blows it

had boston/tb under and also la angels in no hit game. would think extra inning games would be 50/50 as starters are gone and bullpen is getting abused; this year so far in extra inning games I am hitting under 20% including 4 walk off loses this week with no wins.

AA to Aq in a 500 k tourney with 20 people left. Was chip leader and had easy run to final table and guaranted big money. Guy at table with almost as many chips as me is stealing blind after blind. Get AA and he goes all in. Well after thinking i should not do this and just make 30-40 k i decide if i win this i win it all and the 149 k for first. So i call. He shows AQ and flop comes QQQ. Oh and the river and turn K A to rub it in my face. I make like 12 k or so but that hurt. Stop playing online poker almost after that. Oh wait we are talking sports bad beats. I play baseball so way to many to name.

Was my worst beat in a long time also , yet I won like 5 bets in the last 2 days with runs in the 5th inning for FF bets or in the 9th or extras for full game bets. Believe it or not they even out over time.

Three this week, lost on that game the Angels didnt allow a hit. Lost yesterday on the Brewers 9th inning disgrace, and lost last night on the Marlins blowing it in the 11th inning. Its not a money thing, these kinda losses are confidence breakers, it may be time for short break.

That'd be pretty stupid. It's good to get passionate about the games that you've got money on, gets the blood flowin.

I hate games like Milwauke's **** up yesterday, but I also hate it when I have an under and they're about 1 away going in the 9th, and don't even bother trying.

My worst lost was my largest bet I've ever placed. I had 5,000 grand on the Browns.. Here is the story you might remember the stir after the game about the call on ESPN.

Expert recap and game analysis of the Arizona Cardinals vs. Cleveland Browns NFL game from December 2, 2007 on ESPN.

I shoulda won that bet... but the refs called it wrong.

                                  Heres a vid.

Talk to one of our mods about the Yankess Pen for a couple bad beats in the same week. Maybe back to back days if I remember correctly.

The best I have ever been on the receiving end was: I crushed the public on Cinn sweeping the A's in the World Series. Man that ws a great week. This is back with Dave Stewart, Eckersly.....mmmmmmmm......those weeks happen once or twice in a lifetime.

A's were HUGE chalk for the series and every game. The started the series in Cinn and everyday they would double up thinking "they have to win one game!" Then it was " they have to win one at home!"
Man, if that happened now I would make at least a Bar (million dollars for the non Wall Street trading folks). Sorry I am drooling right now.

I picked Nadal at - 8.5. If he wins the next game, I win $560. He gets up 40-0 and then loses the frigging game on two piss-poor errors. If Nadal plays the same way against Federer he's going to get beat.
