Yeah it's always better to bet a game you are watching but I sometimes take the bait to one I'm following online. With live betting I'm really only looking to hedge a parlay if I can get +money on a team I bet against and they are down. Also if I can see value on a team capable of a comeback I might make a play.

I had the option of Texas +1.5 before the inning started but still not high enough for me to take a chance.

If Texas somehows makes it a 1-run game then the odds going into the bottom half of the inning will be something like Tex ML +200/220 at my book.

Exactly, that's why you get a better price. Obviously it's riskier that way but it"s what I'm looking for in live situations.
