Interesting line Wednesday: Rockies -118 (and rising)
Opened at -108. Nolasco vs. Cook. Nolasco has owned the Rockies in his career, with five wins in as many starts and five quality outings (including three at Coors).

Cook as we all know has been absolutely atrocious. Winless at home, 5.43 ERA, etc. We know the drill.

Line jumped from -108 to -114 at Pinny within the first hour. Public, of course, loves Nolasco so far (though it's too early to get a real accurate reading). Marlins won tonight and have momentum in the series. What do you think's going on here?

The opener was a trap from Rox bettors. Marlins have a horrible record, and are percieved to be the worse team of the two. Although these teams are equally mediocre. Nolasco is the better pitcher by a mile. Strikeouts batters, and has good career numbers vs Rox.

The trap is that Marlins should not open @Even money vs anyone while playing on the road?? So bettors bite on the Rox as cheap favs, but its only a lure.

        Florida ML thanks

I knew I should have played this but I didn't want to push my luck after the Houston game.

Cook's burned me so many times....

But the line really did speak for itself.
