oaklands lineup today is particularly weak, i am no fan of saunders of eveland but i think i will take saunders at home over eveland on the road, plus the lineup differntial is decent to me, bc chavy is out for oak, as is suzuki and bartonComment -

eveland has a 1.35 whip, which is below good. certainly not above average. he doesnt strike many out and he walks a lot

carlos gomez is awesome. they are a true team,. do i think they can win the division, yes.
they are better than detroit, they will win more than detroit. but they dont have the hitting of the chisox. they have a good pen though, and good starters. i think they have as good a shot as the yanks do to win the east.

The Rays are exactly like the Mariners of last year, but with a little more talent. Everyone thought they were a shoe in for the playoffs last year and they ended up fading away late in the season. I'm not denying that they will be in the race, I just don't think they have what it takes to compete in such a tough division. An easy explanation for the Rays current success is their consistent pitching. The Yanks and Red Sox lack that right now. However, when the Rays eventually go cold, their inexperience and hot tempers will get the best of them.
The Twins are not nearly as well rounded as the White Sox. The White Sox have a good offense, defense, bullpen, and pitching.Comment -
