Friday picks: tell me what you think

I'm trying to figure out where my errors are in picking games in baseball. It is the one sport I just suck at.

So here are my plays I was thinking of; please pick them apart:

Cubs(Zambano)/Braves(Minor) Over 8 -110

Mets(Gee)/Arizona(Kennedy) ARI -1.5 +135

Padres(Latos)/Reds(Arroyo) Under 8.5 (Even)

Gee has pitched well for the Mets this year.

Over in Cubs/Braves looks good.

I like the over Cubs/Braves as well. ATL should score some runs, and if the Cubs can bring the slightest amount of offense to the park tomorrow your over should be good. Good luck!

ARI -1.5? Gee has pitched pretty well all season. However STL -1.5 +140 is my play today. Aaron Cook has been terrible all season and the Cards put up five runs on Gallardo last night. Colorado has managed to score 6 runs total over the last three games against Cincinnati. Arizona is going against a guy that gave up two runs last time they met.

I don't like the Az pick and think the rest are solid. Gee is a crafty pitcher and has pitched well this year.
