Love this Under. Chisox are just Under machines right now. 13-2 Under last 15 road games. 33-13-5 last 51 overall.
Humber has been consistently good most of the year. He's had some minor hiccups of late but still almost never gives up more than 4 when he's bad. Last 2 came vs Boston and New York also. Even in his "bad" games lately he hasn't been that bad. Other than the Minny game, it's only been one inning that's hurt him so it's not like he's getting knocked around all game. Held the Yanks to 2 runs into the 7th last start, held the Bosox scoreless into the 5th the start before where he had some some bad luck that led to a 4 spot, and held the Tigers to 1 run into the 6th the start before. If he can do his usual and allow 4 at the very worst, which he's done in 18 of 19 starts, then he's backed by what has been one of baseballs best bullpens over the last few months. But facing a much weaker offense than he's had to face lately then I think a quality start is to be expected.
Hunter has dominated righties to a BAA under .200. All the White Sox big hitters are righties...Konerko, Quentin, and a suddenly hot Rios. Along with Beckham and Morel. Lefties today are the extremely weak hitting Pierre and Vizquel, strikeout king Dunn, and a decent bat with AJ.
Orioles bullpen is the only thing that really worries me.
We also get my favorite Under ump behind the plate with Bill Miller. He's an Under machine. 15-8 to the Under this year, 22-13 last year, 22-10 the year before, 21-13 the year before for 80-44 (65%) last 4 years.Comment -
