Should known that no amount of runs was going to be safe. Pretty slimey feeling being a Giants fan and hoping the Dodgers can cling to a lead. Ugh ...

Billingsley couldn't get any swings and misses (got one the entire game I believe).

Pardon, 15. Yeah - anytime you see a leadoff hitter that far ahead of pitches and fouling that many off, hit extremely hard ... not a good sign at all.

If you had any eyeballs, you'd have seen that the fix was in LAST night. When they gave a veteran lefty like Lilly a FEW extra inches (literally) on the bottom left corner of the plate against a bunch of righties. It failed, but did prevent the PHI rl from getting paid. THAT is how they fix baseball games. It was pretty obvious when they had the over/under set at 6.5 with TED LILLY facing nothing but R's, save Howard and Utley, that he was gonna get a huge strike zone. The thing that makes the Phillies so good is their baseball iq. After Lee sat there and watched his teammates get rung up on pitches way outside, he came back on and retired the side with a couple of k's and a popup, utilizing the strike zone that was made precedent (or at least attempting to force the issue... I don't think he ever really quite got blessed with as large a zone as Lilly, but he did his best). Phillies batters had the most schocked looks i've seen on their faces at the plate in a while.
