fister has been pitching well and run support has been his issue.. i think he gets it done in cleveland with migggyy batting .417 and a homer againt masterson

Not sure what you mean by "due", since he won his last outing with good run support. I would be hesitant to take the Tigers without Martinez, against a solid pitcher, on the road, and with an average pitcher on the mound for them. I think the play tonight is either Cleveland or pass.

      Masterson is probably undervauled here.

Also the Tigers have not won in Cleveland for about two years.

Tribe or under for me, though i'll probably pass on both (Tribe's inconsistent bats make me worry about ML; potential for over wind a concern for the under).

Tigers haven't won in Cleveland this year. And last year I could only go up to Aug of 2010 and still no record of a win.

That is one alarming stat. Don't think Tigers will break that trend with Masterson very solid at home - 4-1 (1.92 ERA) over his last seven starts.

May 8, 2010. Kerry Wood gave up 2 in relief of Masterson to take the L. has been a remarkably home team series last two seasons. home team is 21-3, and 5.8.2010 was only Tiger road winner.

Yeah, I can't believe that. It's crazy how much of a streak some teams get on.

i think fister is one of the most underated pitchers in baseball. everyone considers him a like average player but imagine if he pitched for a contender. the guy would have close to 15 wins with all of his quality starts. doesnt k many but the guy is as solid as they come. that being said id still be hesitant to take detroit here in this spot
