Fantasy Thread Week 1

Happy with my first day results. Subbed out Winn (0-4) and put in Murton (3 for 5, HR, 3 runs, 2 rbis). Also, played Barmes (1 for 5, 1 run) over Lopez (1 for 4). Wish I played Kearns and Kotsay tonight, lost batting avg. there, but Granderson at least got a steal for me. Crawford sucked.

Pitching was good. Only Peavy and Linebrink pitched, but 8 IP, 1 ER, 0.625 WHIP.

And we only need 25 minimum innings per week, right?

Props to Winston and imgv's teams today on offense, looks like both of those teams had huge offensive days. Also, good to see some of the guys I traded sucked or are injured (Hudson and Nomar

)

Looks like you subbed out the wrong LH pitcher today.

Anybody know if the week ends on Saturday or Sunday? It says April 2 - April 9. I'm assuming that doesn't include the 9th for this week, i.e. the week is from Sunday to Saturday.

imgv, I'd put in a starting 2B in your lineup. If you had put Mueller in today, your stats would've been even higher.

Typically, weeks will run from Monday to Sunday, but with just one game on Sunday, they just tacked it on.

Question about lineups: If we have somebody slated to start at a particular position and his team's game starts, but he ends up not playing in the game, are we allowed to put in a sub later in that starting spot or once he's locked in and his team's game starts, you get his stats even if he doesn't play?

once the game starts the player is frozen into the postion.

The stat tracker is great WB. It was a good addition to have for the league.

Looks like my team bounced back today. IROD went 4-5 with 1 homerun and 5 rbi. Nice.

Thank god my trade offer to Portland was vetoed. If that trade had gone through I would have handed the championship to the Hampsters before opening day!

I had a horrible first 3 days but made some adjustments and ended up 6-3 after being down 9-0 at one point. Got another tough opponent next week before I finnally get to play some of you other marshmellows.

Chipper should make it back soon...I saw him go down...rolled around like a sissy socker player and then walked off on his own power. Looked like he got scared more than got hurt.
