Leake has pitched good against the Cubs and good in general lately.(4 earned runs last 3 starts)

Also, Dempster has pitched well against the Reds this year. (8 hits 3 runs in 13 innings over 2 starts)

The Reds also haven't given Leake much run support recently. (Leake lost 2 of the last 3 starts despite allowing only 4 Earned runs)

That being said, I'm a Reds fan and they've killed me recently,

I'm a little torn as well. Leake is a good pitcher but he has to get some run support which they have been lacking a little.

I noticed that and that's the other thing that concerned me.

I took Reds, but they always seem to screw me and I'm a Reds fan so......

Fred Lewis went 0 for 4 w/ 2 k's in left last time they faced Dempster. Heisey is batting .241 away and has never faced Dempster... Byrd is sitting but his replacement in CF will be Tony Campana batting 2nd. Has nice #'s vs R's (and the Reds in gen... .333 in 9 ab's) and has been hitting well recently, but has never face Leake. He is on fire right now, Dempster's not. D's been givin up hits and he's got that horrid defense behind him. Reds are also hitting .252 vs R's L10, Cubs .221. Reds have had a nice consistency to their overall effort at the plate recently, Cubbies obviously haven't. Reds have posted better BP #'s as well.

Gotta back the Reds here, especially at these odds. Wouldn't touch the total with a 10 ft pole at 8 or 8.5. GL.

Yonder Alonso ran into the wall in the left field corner and then stumbled around letting the ball bounce away from him. Shouldn't have got an inside the park HR, in my opinion. It was pretty awful to watch as a Reds fan.
