aha, so is the object to post the best + money play, pacocn? i've been trying to minimize juice, but maybe i should be looking for plus money plays....

i either do + money or total but i refuse to call a parlay my "best shot" even when all my plays are my best shot in reality...

Yeah I have been taking my strongest ML play and putting RL up to get + number. Today it was Tigers -1.5 and almost had that fukker until the debacle in the 8th.

i'm going to stick to my closest to even money play.

it's going to be an AL Central race to remember. or forget. we'll see. i'll be watching. Tribe needed a bat, but didn't give away much in the way of young bats, which makes me feel okay - like maybe the talent is there. funny hearing people slam the Jiminez trade over blisters. he's now the second best starter in the division (granted a distant second behind Verlander). in a division where they're playing under ball, SPs are going to be huge. whose starts are they replacing with Jiminez's, Huff's or Carmona's? gonna be fun. Tigers lineup + Verlander is killer.

i'm not too concerned about his blister issues. i'm no blind homer, but one ace SP for two long-term potential ace SPs isn't a terrible deal a couple of games out of first. after Verlander, he's possibly best SP in division. the Tribe is a year ahead of their curve this season. they must believe that they have power bats on the farm or in Sizemore/Choo/etc. returning, and other than Pence, who Tribe never had a real chance at, there were no really solid bats. if your team has scoring (and you can play Tribe TT under in this best shot everyday and do well), a frontline SP is very valuable. to Boston or the Cards or Yankees, less so. a year of experience should bring returns in the Tribe's power, i know that the front office believes this.

Personally, I would say, based on the title, that only single game bets -- either side or total -- should be part of the deal. You know, when someone is looking for a "best shot" Sunday bailout play...that's what I always thought about this thread. But it's no big deal to me, if you can cash a parlay more power to ya! Winning is the name of the game!

Yeah I definitely think its a good trade for Indians. Ill admit though that I was rather surprised ge went to the Indians of all places. I think he will be just fine in that park. Indians really need some bats. They are missing Sizemore and Choo that is for sure.

On a smaller note I am kind of glad to see tge Tigers get Fister as well. I think he will fit in good there as there 5th starter. No more Coke as a starter this year hopefully Pauley should be slight improvement to there middle relief also. Hell to be honest it couldnt get much worse Verlander is lights out this year. The guy is pitching out of his mind. One of the best things about him is he is a gamer. He loves the competition and steppping up in big games. It should be a good race and wouldn't count Whitesox out yet. If Peavy, Danks, Floyd, Buerhle stay healthy thats a pretty good staff as well

Unbelievable that the tribe brings me to such heights Sat by getting me the run line in a 5 teamer and I press it today 5x and they fall flat vs the lowly Royals. Go vs. this tribe of x,!@&^% the rest of the season. They are not a division leader for long. Plus I had them separate to win!

i dont care about whether parlays are included as im not trying to win on this thread just like it so i participate. i actually think 2 teamers in baseball have merit at times with big favs but still like yo just said and ive been saying i find it hard to believe anyone believes a parlay is their best shot....i mean my best shot is playin half the board for equal units a lot of days so can i just do 5 plays for .2 a piece? im sure you would get better results from me that way

I wasn't sure what the goal was. I might have to adjust my thinking now. This is probably the only place I would play a parlay though and that is why I have been playing them. Good luck on tomorrow's games
