    Verlander vs. Weaver
    Huge match up on Sunday.

Verlander is the favorite playing at home in Detroit. I see the under at 6 1/2 right now which is looking good. Who do you all like?

I like the Angels here as well as the under. Good luck with your play!

I like the under here. But both Weaver and Verlander don't have spectacular numbers against their opponent in the past, but both are too good to pass right now. To add to that, the Angels haven't been able to score many runs the past few days and Verlander is at home. Should be a close game, hopefully low scoring.

Should be a hell of a match up, that's for sure.
Thinking of going with Weaver as a 'dog and possibly the under.

Unders will get smashed by game time. Anyone that has a half a clue about baseball knows this is one of the matchups of the year.

I think Weavers price and form would just edge out Verlander who's struggling a bit recently.

There is a bit more to it than that, but this analysis is spot on

verlander at home -130 is when you bet him, not when he is -230. weaver pitches in al west, the same place john lackey made the hall of fame. good luck!

Over, both these line up hit each other pretty good.

The old farts on the angels have been raking for years, they can touch up Verlander.
Look at what some of the Tigers do to Weaver, Mags hits him, and his bat is starting to come around now,

                      all that glitters isn't gold.

                      Tigers win this 7-4

Forgot to mention that both starters do better during the day.
Another fact that helps the under.

Angles or the over if I had to play. Weaver has been a bit more consistent IMO. Both teams have had pretty good success against each pitcher, but I think Weaver's stuff is a little better. Verlander is overpowering, but Weaver is the better pitcher.

Not Detroit but usually that isn't an issue with Verlander on the mound because he pitches 7 or more innings then they can bring in Benoit in the 8th (if needed) and Valverde in the 9th who aren't the problems it's half the other bums they have in middle relief.

Yeah Verlander can throw 150 pitches and still have 100 mph on his fastball. Unless he really struggles, (doubtful) the Tigers bullpen will not be needed too much. I guess that applies to Weaver and the Angels also, because he goes like 7 or 8 innings most starts.

My favorite early lean was the under in this game. I expect a 3-1, 3-2 sort of game. Both have just been on fire as of late but you never know.

Some big money on the over just came in...did you see the recent line move? Makes me worry, but its starting to come back down so we'll see where it closes.

Saw that. Huge line shift. Still have almost an hour till game time, so plenty of time for it to continue moving.

Did the 4 letter word change the to the 5pm (pst) Sunday game to this one, or did they keep the STL/CHC game??

They are idiots if they didn't change, as for the game, I'm don't bet on my favorite teams and LAA has been my team since I was 5 years old('67). I grew upin the OC when there were orange groves!!

                                                            But if I did, take un 6.5. 1st 5: un 3.5

What a joke, I thought it'd move into 6 and maybe even 5.5. Might even move to 7 at this rate.

Maybe, I'm not sure but this year Verlander pitched a in a 1-0 loss versus Haren right before the all star break on the road. Weaver hasn't seen the Detroit lineup yet this season but these pitchers are on this year.

The Angels aren't that great at scoring runs and Detroit bats are very streaky. Hmm.
