Overall, it seems short winning and losing streaks do not impact the results one way or the other. Longer winning and losing streaks tend to reverse themselves with teams on winning streaks winning less than expected and teams on losing streaks winning more than expected. But these tendencies are small and are not enough to bet blindly against streaks. I do think they are enough for bettors who were otherwise on the fence to push them one way or the other. These bettors who are on the fence can use these tendencies to avoid betting on streaks continuing or to bet on streaks ending.

interesting read. personally it all depends when i caught on to the winning or losing streak. if i started riding early enough i wont care when i take the loss but will keep playing it until i do most times. if that isnt the case i normally try not to get involved as i hate coming to a party late or leaving early if the party is good. know what im saying?
