Maybe He wants you to look at the Padres b/c:

stauffer has a 1.33 ERA over his last 8 starts.
SD has scored 42 runs over their last 7 games
SD is barely under .500(24-27) on the road and over .500(15-14) in the 3rd game of a series.
The ump Porter is 14-3 to the under avg 6.24 RPG. So a really low scoring game give the friars a better chance.
that taking the opposing team +1.5 runs is 13-8 TY vs Halladay.

Then again he just might be trying to get you to bet the Padres so his price on the Phillies will be cheaper
