Holladay pitching at home for a hefty price...SD has to win on the road sooner or later, right?

Halladay pitched like shit against the cubs and pussed out because of heat. For a guy that prides himself on being in shape and his workouts look for a complete game shutout.

Halladay won't have back to back bad games... In almost all instances, when you have an ace pitcher pitch like shit one night against a team, they will always rebound their next start..

                  phil/under 6.5 -combo
Stauffer is 1.33 ERA in his last eight starts + Padres will have 1 run in 7 innings if you are lucky,
against Halladay they will be blank as Doc will need to match Hammel's last game at home.

Not sure about square but not smart at that price. Actually think Pads have a good shot here. Doc has been shakey in several starts this year.

I believe they are resting a few players tomorrow as well.

I know you're a big Padres fan Mike and know that team better then anyone, but you're talking about one of the leagues absolute worst teams going against the MLB's best team.. And to top if off, they got Halladay on the mound here. I know he was shaky his last start and had to get taken out because of heat exhaustion, but I'm sure he'll bounce back.. He couldn't possibly let that effect him 2 straight games now could it? And you figure the Padres have a hard time getting runs and hitting the ball enough as it is. Well it's gonna be even harder with the Phillies Ace on the mound... Can't see Padres upsetting the Phillies here. If it happens, it's a fix
