What happened to this guy? He was a shutdown pitcher, he has been awful this year. He got a 4 run first inning lead and he can barely hold it against the pirates.

Been a tough year for him. And he had very good career numbers vs. the Pirates, 2.09 ERA in over 100 innings pitched against them. Not a terrible start for him tonight, 8 innings, 4 runs, but definitely not as good as the past couple years this season. But he has been much better in his last few starts.Comment -

Wasn't terrible. Wasn't as good as last 5 starts yes, but 8 innings 4 runs is ok. Gotta little lucky that Cards scored enough, but looks like he is getting the win today. I remember many games early in the season where he got the loss after pitching a decent game, this time he gets some run support.Comment -
