    TOR Thursday
Toronto has to be one of the better plays in my opinion Thursday. Romero's ERA is inflated due to his last three games against NYY/BOS/PHI while Fister had TEX/LAA/SD. Toronto hitting far better than SEA (obviously) and in my mind SEA has to be reeling (more so) from finally getting some offense going in that marathon game only to falter. Plus the crushing tonight. Adds up to a fairly reasonable -1.5 at + 120. Toronto's home record ain't the best but in this instance I think it's good enough. Maybe they can steal enough signs to at least cover... Cheers

the only problem with this is run support for romero... jays like to go from red-sox-offense type to padres-offense type when he's pitching

There is a high probability that the Jays will destroy Fister in the first inning tomorrow.

In fact, Jays team total OVER and YES to a run in the first inning prop.

Team total is probably the only solid bet.

Fister struggled in his only outing at the Rogers Center. Have to like Toronto in this one.

Doesn't make any sense toronto should've been much a bigger favorite with morrow/vargas than romero/fister

I have been betting against Mariners for past week, winning. However, Fister is a better pitcher than you think. He is 6'8" and throws a good sinking fastball which yields many grounders. He has not had a really poor outing in a long time. Gets DPs. Also, Romero has been less than dominating lately. I think Toronto will win, but don't bet the farm on it.

Never the farm. My basic points that Romero's numbers are misleading and SEA can't get a win (or really sustained offense) for love or money led me to the TOR -1.5. Cheers

Look at how Seattle has competed with the Jays this season. I'd lay off of this one. Romero got beat in a 3-2 game earlier this season against Seattle and the line is moving wayy to much.
