Coming from a red sox fan.......the yankees hit price really well 2 weeks ago and were +140......not a dumb play at all

That's why you lose. You think the books didn't know that giving the Yankees as a big dog was going to get huge lopsided action? They set it that way and then the sharps moved Tampa even further ahead as a favorite. Tampa opened around -141 and closed at around -148. You're welcome for the free lesson.

true, but it was a better game to pass than put a dollar on. That line was based on Freddie Garcia pitching for the Yanks and the myth that David Price (9-8) is a great pitcher. Tampa hasn't swung the bats well in weeks and you never lay -148 juice against the yankees, no matter who is pitching. There was RLM for the game, but that's not a 100% winner.

It is when you're like me and you bet it at -141 when it opens. If someone said to me "what's the one betting situation you would like the most if forced to bet?" I'd say "I like laying solid chalk against the Yankees." You're just dumb if your outlook is "you never lay big chalk against the Yankees." if the sportsbooks read this thread they'd say "thanks moron" to that statement.

Lol 5-0 yesterday and up money this season (not much but still in the +) but w/e.....do u also bet against your sox when they are +140 or higher?
