Just wondering if anyone knows any statistics on the Winning and Losing teams off games that go that far into extra innings. Especially considering it was a night game. Assuming there could be some sort of letdown effect for the winning team in their next game.

generally if i give this any weight at all i typically think the second day after a gm like that is a better spot looking to fade the teams involved. Just think adrenaline can carry a team over into the next gm before they crash, while normally lines are overpriced against the teams involved the next day (i mean bos pretty cheap and nyy pretty high imho). I have no evidence this is really the case just the way i feel about it. lol....

Ya, it seems like way too many people are on the yankees today, that is heavy juice for burnett in Tampa.

I expect Rays to be hitting tonight and Yanks usually have trouble against young pitchers they have never seen.

a 16 inning game means the bullpen will be used up. But if key relievers threw just 1 inning or less they should be good to bounce back the next day.
