Is it worth playing the A's RL?
Is it worth playing the A's RL at even money?

Hendrickson is one of the worst and maby ther worst pitcher in mlb right now with a 8.10 with 1.95 WHIP in 13.1 innings his L3 given up 5, 10, 4, 5 and 3 ER in his L5 starts. In his latest start he could easy given up 5-6 runs, but got lucky.. Meanwhile Harden have been got with a 2.41 ERA with 1.07 WHIP in 18.2 innings. At home he got almost the same stats..
He havn't given up more than 3 ER in his L6 starts, not more than 2 ER in 5 of 6 and are coming of a shutout @Giants...
The Marlins got a very little edge in the batting matchup, but the A's should cover that against a very poor Hendrickson..

    Is it worth it???

IMO, it is NEVER worth it to lay runs in baseball. Or take runs, for that matter. Stick with the odds line and you'll do far better in the long run.

The As tonight are way overpriced. Even considering the matchup advantage, they should only be a 135-140 favorite. Their matchup advantage is great enough, though, that you can't take the Marlins. No play.

Agree with you on the no play and the line, but I'v hittten alot of RL lately and as I said in another thread..: In the L5 days teams have won by more than one run 44 times against 18 one run games..

I like the Braves and might play the RL as Bedard have been struggling on the road with a 7.40 ERA...
Like the Phillies and might play both ML and -2½ as they play a struggling Angels at home with Howard in great form...
Like Brewers where the RL looks strong with Suppan on the mound
                Like Rays...

The Yanks should crush the Reds, but Volquez is good.. Also the Yanks is on a long win streak that might end soon..
But I realy like the under 8.5 in this one. Volquez with a 2.25 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP in his L3 vs Mussina with 2.70 ERA with a 0.95 WHIP in his L3.
Also the under is at +105

Just a feeling, that's all... Also the Reds have to get a win soon and the Yanks might underrate them after their poor run..

reds can want a win all they want!
they are a bad team with no offense and the yanks are the best offense, at home, on a tear
                          dont fade the hot team

Im not gonna pick the Reds today, but I gonna stay away from it cause I got a feeling on a close game...
I got the lean on the Yanks and I i'v played this game I might would pick Yanks RL, but cause of my bad feeling on this one, Yanks long win streak and the Reds bad run lately I don't like this game....

I agree with out that the Reds are bad right now and that the Yanks are strong so I wish you good luck...
Hope you cash and think you cash

Ditto, Ditto, and Ditto. Also the Angels, Twins, Devil Rays, and Giants. (And the Orioles and Rangers if the price moves a little.)
