    Thursday 7/14:

    Cleveland Indians -108 - 2 Units
    Manager Manny Acta will have his team fired up for the playoff run. With a tight playoff race in the central, and a majority of the second half games against division opponents, Cleveland needs to capitalize on struggling teams.

    Milwaukee Brewers +131 - 1 Unit
    Although the Brewers have an atrocious road record (16-29), and Jimenez is pitching for Colorado, the line reflects too much value to pass up. This game is all about momentum. The Brewers front office shows they believe by signing K-Rod. The players are ready to make a run. Milwaukee is tied for first, a great hitting team, and has a solid starter. I look for the Brewers to improve their road record this second half into the playoff run. Tonight is a great place to start.

    Kansas City Royals +145 - 1 Unit
    Good value on the Royals tonight. Everyone thinks the Twins will make a push the second half with key players returning from injury. I agree. However, this line is giving too much respect to an underachieving team, with a streaky, 5.06 ERA pitcher.

    San Francisco Giants +102 - 1 Unit
    Hard to pass up the best in the west at even money.

          Friday 7/15:

          Florida Marlins +101 - 0.5 Unit
          At even money, Florida has more going for them, and is optimistic on the second half. While both teams are underachieving, the Marlins have some positive momentum surrounding them for this game. They have won 6 strait, including a win yesterday in comeback fashion. Nolasco has been better than Dempster as of late. Dempster's last performance was his first start after missing 10 games. It resulted in a dugout fight when he was pulled after 5 innings. The value is with Florida.

              Friday 7/15:

              Pittsburgh Pirates -104 - 1.0 Unit
              This game involves to dramatically different teams. Pittsburgh is shocking everyone, and not receiving the respect they deserve. While Houston seems contempt with their role as the bottom-feeders of the MLB. The Pirates have an unreal amount of confidence right now. Karstens is pitching great this season with a 2.55 ERA versus Houston's Myers 4.88 ERA. For nearly even money, the value sides with the Pirates.

              Texas Rangers -112 - 1 Unit
              Seattle manager Eric Wedge says it best: "Until these guys understand that you've got to take some risks, get out there and square up the ball, make adjustments to what you are seeing from the opposing pitcher, we're going to continue to struggle." Seattle's bats will not win this game. It all lies on Seattle pitcher Doug Fister to shut down the hottest hitting team in the west. Advantage Texas.

              Cleveland Indians -103 - 1 Unit
              With Detroit and Chicago squaring up this evening, and Verlander on the hill for the Tigers, the Indians know they need to capitalize tonight against Baltimore.

                      Momentum play on the White Sox. Chicago is fired up after beating Verlander, and looks to play better ball in hopes of making the playoffs.

                          Saturday 7/16:

                          Texas Rangers -108 - 0.5 Unit
                          Two great pitchers on the hill tonight. However, Seattle comes nowhere close to producing runs like Texas can. For close to even money, the value is on Texas and their 9 game winning streak.

                          Cleveland Indians -1½ +140 - 0.5 Unit
                          Baltimore is giving another start to Simon, one of their relievers in hopes of finding a reliable arm. Cleveland should expose Simon, and tap into the underachieving Orioles bullpen. On the other hand, Cleveland's starter Carrasco has been untouchable in 5 of his last 7 starts. He was roughed up in his past two starts against great hitting teams in Toronto, and New York. Look for him to recover tonight against Baltimore.

                                                  The Pirates are showing too much respect tonight. Lefties bat .350 against Morton, and in his past 5 starts he has not made it past the 6th inning. Although Pittsburgh has been playing great baseball, they will not be able to hang with Cincinnati's bats.

                                                  New York Yankees -116 - 1.5 Units
                                                  The Rays are coming off a near 6 hour defeat to Boston. New York has a lengthier bullpen, and will have more focus.

                                                  Florida Marlins +124 - 0.5 Unit
                                                  Florida's starter Hensley has gone 3 years before he last started. Tonight he is pitching for a spot in the rotation.

                                                  Chicago White Sox -118 - 1 Unit
                                                  Momentum for Chicago going into Kansas City. Chicago took two of three from division opponent Detroit, including a big win over Verlander. Advantage Chicago with Buehrle on the mound tonight.

                                                  Milwaukee Brewers +116 - 1 Unit
                                                  Value on the Brewers tonight with a decent Wolf on the mound, and great success playing at Chase Field.

                                                          The Pirates in first place? That will not sit well with the Reds. Pittsburgh is too young to handle that kind of pressure.

                                                          Tampa Bay has had two heart breaking nights back to back. One being a 16 inning loss to Boston, the other blowing a two run lead and allowing the Yankees to win it in the 9th inning. Good value on Hellicks tonight against Colon who was lit up his last start.

                                                          St. Louis Cardinals +101 - 0.5 Unit
                                                          The Pirates are leading the division. This will motivate a healthy Saint Louis tonight.

                                                          Chicago White Sox -113 - 0.5 Unit
                                                          Chicago has some momentum riding with them winning 3 of 4 after the break.

                                                          Atlanta Braves +126 - 0.5 Unit
                                                          Value on Beachy tonight. Atlanta has won 7 of 10 and is disciplined enough to be successful against Jimenez.
