I think it was a total rooster move not showing up at the all star game days after hitting the 3000- all players who don't show up fir all star games (excluding legit injuries and guys on the DL) should be fined and forfeit any all star bonus money the get. Totally disrespectful IMO

It emotionally drained him, and he was tired.

He makes it sound like he hit all 3000 last week.

I dislike him even more now.

True.... he had a nice game Saturday going 5-5 but before that the other Yankee shortstop looked like he might make a case to take the starting short stop position ... whats the other SS name? he's pretty good

eduardo nunez. not a good fielder, but a pretty good hitter. i like when he plays, he rarely hits into double plays.
