fan on field question

say jeter woulda hit a double or something, could a fan run out on the field and somehow grab it and be able to keep it, i know it would be hard to get it and im sure they would get in trouble but could they legally keep the ball because it would be worth the tickets

I'm not sure going to jail and getting banned from a stadium for life + fines would be worth the trouble of keeping the ball. I'm sure they make you empty your pockets when you go to jail anyway. Easy enough for someone to take it

id go to jail, fines and banned for 200-500k, i just wasnt sure if you would be able to keep the ball

they would definitely confiscate the ball. that is trespassing and they will take the property you took while on the field. this reminds me of a drunk conversation id have with friends about
