    Sunday MLB Winner!!!
    PIRATES -131

Had the Pirates last night...and lost...I see the Pirates winning before the All-Star break. Don't see them losing two in a row.I'm backing the Pittsburgh Pirates at home Sunday behind underrated lefty Paul Maholm. The surprising Pirates sit just one game out of the division lead in the NL Central at 46-43 on the season. This team simply believes they can win now thanks to Clint Hurdle, who is clearly the manager of the year at this point. Maholm has posted a 3.08 ERA and 1.219 WHIP in 18 starts this season, and he's 4-4 with a 2.02 ERA and 1.171 WHIP in 10 home starts.

The Pirates are 11-4 in Maholm's 15 career starts against Chicago. In two starts against the Cubs this season, Maholm has pitched 15 2/3 shutout innings while allowing only 10 base runners. The Cubs are 28-62 in their last 90 games following a win. The Pirates are a perfect 6-0 in their last 6 games following a loss. Pittsburgh is 4-0 in Maholm's last 4 home starts. The Pirates are 4-0 in Maholms last 4 home starts vs. Cubs. Take the Pirates Sunday. Im betting the house on this one!!!!!!!!

    Good Luck!!!!!!

Cubs 'pen is without Marmol + Ramon Ortiz is nothing special. Pittsburgh bats are doing well, too. I'm playing it safe and sticking to Pit TTo4. Even without Pena, the Cubs are hitting well and could get to Maholm.
