    Pete Rose
Every forum seems to ask this question and SBR will be no exception.

Should Pete Rose be allowed into the Hall of Fame?

He did bet on the game but his onfeild contributions should allow him into the hall. He shouldn't ever be allowed to manage or hold any office positions however.

        I vote yes.
He should be rewarded for what he did on the field. Because as a player, he gave his all. Thats what the Hall is about, what you do as a player.

That's a seperate issue. Let's stay focused on the Rose question.

Put me down for YES as well. I've long felt former journeyman outfielder Jim Dwyer said it best: "The Hall of Fame is for baseball people. Heaven is for good people."

If it was my call, I'd let him in but not include him in any induction ceremony.
